MISSIONS FUNDING

CWE Church seeks to express Christ-like generosity in all that we do, especially in the area of domestic and international mission work that advances the Kingdom of God. We are committed to leveraging 5% of our annual operating budget towards missions giving. Of this 5% of the operating budget we will portion 60% towards local St. Louis city mission work, and 40% towards other mission work, which may be non-local (regional, national, and international). If necessary, we will prioritize CWE Church members in all matters of consideration. Our expectation for any person that receives missions funding is to maintain regular, ongoing, and agreed upon communication. This could be an in-person “Moment for Mission” during Sunday worship, digital or printed newsletters, or a dedicated CWE Church member liaison that provides the congregation with updates. Our expectation is to stay in regular contact with the member.
