Our culture is filled with many different narratives about what is true and what is good for people. Many of these narratives would claim sympathy, even alignment, with the gospel. But they are in fact counterfeit gospels. In this passage, the apostle Paul is deeply concerned to alert the Colossians to this danger, and help them through it.
